Welcome to Discovery Harbour Resources
Focused on high grade low sulphidation epithermal gold discoveries in Nevada.
Discovery Harbour’s focus is achieving a drill discovery on its Caldera and Fortuity 89 Projects in southwestern Nevada, located less than 50km from Kinross Gold’s Round Mountain Mine, the world’s largest heap leach mine. Nevada is the top ranked mining jurisdiction in the world in the 2020 Fraser Institute Mining Jurisdiction Survey.
Tertiary volcanic units associated with calderas, which host numerous low sulphidation epithermal gold deposits in Nevada, underlie both Caldera and Fortuity 89. At Caldera the known mineralisation extends for at least 6.5 km evidenced by gold anomalies accompanied by strong alteration and related pathfinder elements. Having the benefit of extensive historical data, we intend to add value to Discovery Harbour by drilling more than 100m deeper than any previous drilling on the property. Newcrest Mining Ltd., a large gold-copper producer, has optioned the Fortuity 89 property and has embarked upon a comprehensive program to identify and drill promising targets.
